Brian Sumbot has over 35 years of practical experience covering a broad spectrum of upstream petroleum activity related to Health Safety Security & Environment (HSSE). He has accomplished as such while working in the frozen Arctic, the humid jungles, and hot deserts of North America, Central & South America, North Africa, and the Arabian Peninsula.  In this capacity, both as a regulator and corporate consultant, he has successfully fulfilled roles in HSSE, Process Safety Management (PSM), Risk Assessment & Management, and Stakeholder Relations.

Associate Degree in  Petroleum Engineering Technology from South Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT)
